"Who" is an acrylic piece that holds a deeply personal meaning for me. I created the background with no clear direction in mind, and it stayed unfinished for almost a year as I grappled with how to complete it. This mirrors my own experiences with severe anxiety about death, which often leads to episodes of derealization and depersonalization. These moments leave me feeling disconnected from reality yet hyper-aware of consciousness, the subconscious, and what it feels like to float between realms. The eyes in this piece represent the windows of the soul—a reflection of how I process those overwhelming emotions and try to make sense of what it means to truly exist.
